The Giltrap Audi Golf Classic on Monday 5 December at the Royal Auckland Golf Club was a huge success with over $100,000 raised to help Shine make more New Zealand homes violence free.
There was a very successful auction that raised over $50,000 featuring great auction prizes such as golf trips, an Audi Ice experience and a dinner cooked by Tony Astle. The highlight of the auction was a group effort to raise $14,000 towards bedrooms at Shine’s refuge.
There was also lots going on at the course with a champagne hole provided by Fine Wine Delivery, double or quits hole provided by KPMG and a sausage sizzle with the boys at River Valley Meats.
Events like this make our work at Shine possible and save the lives of many New Zealanders.
A huge thank you to Platinum Sponsor Giltrap Audi for their overwhelming support for Shine and partnering with us to make this event a success for another year.
