Level 3

This specialist training day is designed to grow your skills in working with men who use family violence. It will provide practical tools and strategies you can apply directly in your work. The day is interactive and practice-focused, tailored to meet the needs of practitioners engaging with users of violence.  

Learning Objectives:

• Apply non-collusive strategies using techniques that avoid minimizing or justifying abusive behaviour while keeping the man engaged in the intervention process
• Understand ways to uphold dignity and make connections with people who use violence
• Prioritize victim-survivor safety by assessing risk indicators so that the physical and emotional safety of partners and children remains the central focus of any intervention 

Add these onto your Level 3 Safer System Responses Training, or book as separate sessions – 7 hours.
